Dr. Elizabeth Klawitter is originally from the Omaha area and has been around podiatry her entire life. Her father, Dr. Paul Klawitter, was a well known podiatrist in the Omaha area for over 33 years. He specialized in minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Klawitter worked for her father for 10 years before going to podiatry school.

Dr. Klawitter went to the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa. She graduated from the College of Podiatric Medicine in June, 1999. She completed her two year residency in Grand Blanc, Michigan at the Genesys Regional Medical Center from 1999-2001 where she was chief resident her second year.

She is currently on staff at Advanced Surgical and is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association. She has also been featured in LifeZette online. (pdf format of article)

Dr. Klawitter, a two time breast cancer survivor, proudly supports the American Cancer Society and the Susan G. Komen foundation.

Dr. Emlyn Forsung

DPM

Dr. Emlyn Forsung is originally from Cameroon, West Africa. He relocated to Omaha, NE in 2009 to pursue higher education at the University of Nebraska at Omaha where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology with a minor in chemistry.

He then continued his education at Kent State College of Podiatric Medicine where he received his degree as a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine in 2018.

Dr. Forsung completed a total of three years of surgical residency with an emphasis on foot and ankle reconstruction. The first two and half years were spent at East Liverpool City Hospitals in East Liverpool, Ohio and six months at Lowerbucks Hospital in Bristol, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Forsung considers Omaha, Nebraska his adopted hometown and is married to his college sweetheart whom he met while at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

His wife is originally from the Omaha metro area where they currently live with their two young children. Dr. Forsung’s interests include spending time with family and friends, sports, especially soccer, and building and racing cars. He happens to be fluent in 4 languages.
